Condition Report

The canvas has been relined, which have resulted in a flattened paint surface. The paint surface is secure and stable. The whites have yellowed somewhat but should respond well to cleaning. Inspection an even varnish under ultraviolet light reveals small scattered retouchings throughout the background, as well as a band of retouching along the upper edge. There are very few very small localised retouching in the lower bird. Offered in a stained wood frame in excellent condition.
