Description

Clifford T. Bailey, American, Colorado (b. 1952), "Scarlet and Plum," oil on board, signed lower left, letter verso from Venable Neslage Galleries in Washington D.C., measures 7.25 x 15.50 inches unframed, 11 x 19.50 inches framed. CONDITION: Good, slight line at right of left most apple, light scuffs at far upper right. Bailey began exhibiting his work professionally in 1971 at the age of nineteen in the Martin Gallery in Scottsdale, Arizona. As a full time artist since 1980, he has won many First Place and Best of Show awards in national exhibitions and shows and is included in many private and corporate collections including Con Agra, Swift, Burlington Railroad and Beatrice.
