(1796-1834) Clearing the buoy signed and dated 'S AUSTIN/1827' (lower right) and signed again, inscribed and dated 'Clearing the buoy/S Austin Liverpool 1827' (on a fragment of the old mount attached to the reverse of the frame) pencil and watercolour, heightened with touches of bodycolour, and with scratching out 10 x 17 in. (25.4 x 43.2 cm.)
