Notes

The following three lots are from an archive of Claude Cahun and Marcel Moore material, including photographs, drawings and other works of art. On Cahun's death in 1954, the collection stayed with Moore and was sold decades later after her death in 1972 in the Marcel Moore House Sale at Langlois, St Helier, Jersey.
No VAT will be charged on the hammer price, but VAT at 15% will be added to the buyer's premium which is invoiced on a VAT inclusive basis.
Only one other print of this image is known, held in the Jersey Heritage Collection, Jersey.

Cahun plays with the duality of her nature with a photo-montaged double self-portrait set against the rocky landscape of Jersey.
