Description

obbligazione al portatore di 10.000 Lire al 4%. Genova 1 luglio 1944. Piccole riparazioni a tergo all'origine. Spettacolare e affascinante veste grafica - a firma Giuseppe Mazzoni (1881-1957) - ricca di elementi simbolici e ispirata al viaggio di Cristoforo Colombo con le tre caravelle in balìa dei flutti. Dal fondo emerge un medaglione con San Giorgio che combatte contro il drago. Sul lato sinistro la Lanterna, il celebre faro portuale della città. Spiccano inoltre due colonne con l’iscrizione latina “non plus ultra” scolpita - secondo la mitologia - da Ercole in quanto esse erano ritenute i limiti estremi del mondo, oltre i quali era vietato il passaggio ai comuni mortali. Impronta a secco con lo stemma del capoluogo ligure nel medaglione a fianco della colonna. A tergo il piano di ammortamento del prestito di 400.000.000 di Lire, diviso in serie dalla A alla Z ed emesso in sette tagli da: 500, 1.000, 2.500, 5.000, 10.000, 25.000 e 50.000 Lire ciascuno.
