Description

"Portrait eines älteren Herrn mit Schapsflasche" Gemälde Öl / Leinwand (wachsdoubliert), 59,5 cm x 48 cm, Provenienz: Dieses Gemälde, wie auch die folgende Losnummer 712, wurden vom Großvater des Eigentümers Herrn Dr. ... (Name kann auf Nachfrage mitgeteilt werden), (1892-1976) zwischen dem 1. und 2. Weltkrieg käuflich erworben und befinden sich seitdem im Besitz der Familie. Sie waren über Jahrzehnte Bestandteil der Ausstattung der Familienresidenz im ältesten Renaissancehaus der Stadt Grimma. In den circa 1980er Jahren wurden beide Gemälde in der Dresdner Gemäldegalerie fachmännisch restauriert - wachsdoubliert. Wir bedanken uns bei Herrn Dr. Christian Lueben aus Köln für die freundliche Unterstützung bei der Zuschreibung des Künstlers. | | "Portrait of an elderly gentleman with a liquor bottle" painting oil / canvas (waxed doubled), 59.5 cm x 48 cm, provenance: This painting, as well as the following lot number 712, were bought by the grandfather of the owner, Dr. ... (name will be provided on request), (1892-1976). Aquired between the 1st and 2nd World War. Ever since the paintings have been in the collection of the family. For decades they were part of the furnishings of the family residence of the oldest Renaissance house in the city of Grimma. In the 1980s, both paintings were professionally restored - waxed lined - in the Dresden picture gallery. We thank Dr. Christian Lueben from Cologne for their kind support in the attribution of the artist.

The Auction House Kloss, Rosenthaler Str. 16, 13127 Berlin, auctions in public auctions according to § 383 Abs. 3 S. 1 BGB (German Civil Code) in the name and for the account of the consignor (agent). The auction is voluntary.

1. The call usually starts at the price indicated in the catalogue. Estimated prices given in the catalogue are not minimum or maximum prices, but only serve as an indication of the market value of the items without guarantee for their correctness.

2. The knockdown obliges the bidder to pay the auction item immediately after receiving the invoice by E-Mail. The surcharge should be paid within 8 days.

3. In addition to the hammer price, the buyer has to pay a premium of 23,9% plus VAT at the current rate of 19% on the premium (totaling 28.44%).

4.Exempt from VAT are export deliveries to third countries and - if the VAT number is indicated - to companies in other EU member states.
