Charles Yardley Turner (American, 1850-1919): A Plainsman. Oil on canvas, signed in the lower right corner and dated 1910, approx. 30-1/4" x 20-1/4", framed in a narrow gilt oak frame overall approx. 31-3/4" x 21-3/4". Turner executed many fine historical murals in public spaces over the country. This figure is seen in the center of the mural in a court room in the Mahoning County Court House in Youngstown, Ohio.: Surface soils, some damages around the perimeter.
