Description

Washington's Headquarters at Newburgh oil on board 101/4 x 121/2in. NOTES Charles Winfield Tice was born in Montgomery, New York, near Newburgh, and worked as a portrait, landscape and still life painter. He exhibited at the National Academy of Design between 1837 and 1849 including many views of Newburgh and its surrounding environs.
