Shipping

We ship many items in house. We offer reasonable rates through USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground Mail, and all packages are fully insured. We do not ship First Class to the US or Internationally. We may ship in two separate packages if you've won combined items, some of which are fragile and some which are heavy or metal, such as cast iron.
* We may not ship some items that are very fragile or delicate. In such cases, the item will be sent to our shipping company, Postal Pal out of Anna, Ill. Postal Pal will send you an invoice through Paypal after Postal Pal has picked up your items from us, which is usually within 2 to 7 days from the end of the auction. In this case, you must first pay Purcell Auction for your items (you'll be invoiced from us), and then Postal Pal will send a separate invoice for shipping. If for any reason you need to contact Postal Pal, their phone number is 1-618-833-4499.
* Any claims for damages or lost shipping must be made through the shipper (USPS or UPS). You can contact us and we'll initiate the claim. Our phone is 270 444-7599.

1. All items are sold AS-IS. So it is the bidder's responsibility to view all photos, read descriptions and/or contact Purcell Auctions for more details before bidding. Purcell Auctions will describe and grade as best to our ability, but we are not experts so therefore will not be held accountable for any bidder disagreement with descriptions and grading of items received, unless item has been grossly misrepresented.

2. In general, items are NON-RETURNABLE unless item has been grossly misrepresented.

3. Purcell Auctions does not guarantee any authenticity or originallity to items sold as there are many reproductions, fantasy pieces, remakes, etc of antiques and collectibles.

4. We ship in-house many items through UPS Ground and USPS flat rate priority and combine shipping to help save our customers on shipping and packaging fees. Some items, especially easily breakable items, may go to a third-party shipper, Postal Pal, of Anna, IL. Winning bidders will be sent an email and invoice within 48 hours of auction's end indicating items won with our 15 percent premium added, and shipping fee. If item is to be shipped by Postal Pal, Postal Pal will contact you either by email or phone with their shipping fees and you will pay them directly for those fees. If your item is to be shipped via Postal Pal, your invoice from us will not include a shipping fee.

5. We must have a physical address to ship as your item may be shipped via UPS, which does not deliver to UPS boxes. If you must have your item shipped to a post office box, please email us so that we can be sure to ship your item via USPS.

6. We also accept payment by phone with a credit card (270) 444-7599.

7. Winning bidders with Kentucky addresses must pay Kentucky sales tax of 6% unless a Kentuckyk resale tax number is provided.

8. We also accept phone bids during the auction.

10. During the auction, bids will also be taken on-site at our auction house. In case of a tie bid between you, the internet bidder, and a floor bidder, the floor bidder receives the bid - even if you submitted an absentee bid days before the auction.

Buyer Contract

By purchasing from our live sale, you are entering into a binding legal contract with Purcell Auction Gallery to pay in full along with any buyers premiums, shipping charges and/or handling fees.

Payments

You can pay via Paypal with your Paypal account or any credit card by clicking the pay now tab at the bottom of your invoice, Or we can charge your credit card on file. You will have TWO days to pay via Paypal or call with credit card information, after the TWO days we will automatically charge your credit card on file. If you prefer to call us with your credit card info our phone number is 1-270-444-7599 and we are here most days Monday through Friday 8 am to 4 pm CST.

Payment is expected WITHIN 7 DAYS. If you do not pay, an unpaid item claim will be filed with AuctionZip and you will be added to our No-Bid List, both of which may discourage other auction companies from approving you as a bidder on AuctionZip.

The day after the auction, we will email you an invoice, with the easiest way for you to pay Purcell Auction is through the link on the invoice to Paypal. Paypal accounts are easy to set up and use - linking your credit card or debit card or banking account number to Paypal is fairly simple. We are here at Purcell Auction most days 8 am to 4 pm, sometimes later, Central Standard Time. Your invoice will include our 15% premium. Please note that there is also a 3 percent online premium collected by AuctionZip. We do not have a billing system that automatically charges a credit card you may have registered with AuctionZip. Buyers Premium

Our Buyers Premium is 15%.

Taxes

If you live in Kentucky you will be charged 6% Kentucky sales tax unless you have a Resale Tax ID number. If you do not live in Kentucky, you will not be charged sales tax.
