Note: Genge studied at the Academie Julienne in Paris and subsequently exhibited at The Goupil Gallery, The Royal Society of British Artists, The Royal Institute of Oil Painters and the New English Art Club. He was one of the founders of the Bethnal Green Working Man's Institute and a leader of the British Post Impressionist Movement. Following his death his studio was handled by Campbell's of Walton Street, Knightsbridge.
