General Sir Thomas Hawker KCB was Lieutenant-Colonel of the 13th Light Dragoons from 1821 and Colonel of the 6th Dragoon Guards (Carabiniers) from 1839. He married, in 1838, as her 2nd husband, Mary Woodley.
