Condition Note: Canvas is not lined SURFACE: heavy craquelure throughout---several places with slight cupping (has led to flaking in a few areas--i.e. several small losses along the lower edge, one just touches the signature where it affects the tip of the "C"; a few along the upper edge as well); canvas is a bit loose on stretcher and buckles in a few places UNDER ULTRA VIOLET: impossible to see through old varnish--appears that an attempt was made to repaint some old losses at right and at upper left, but can't see more
