Cecilia Margaret Nairn was the daughter of John Henry Campbell (1757-1828) and married the horse painter George Nairn in 1826. She was taught to paint by her father and there are strong stylistic resemblances. For an example of J.H. Campbell's work see lots 1 and 2.
