T&Cs Anglo-Boer War Oct/Nov 2017

1. A Buyer's Premium of 17,5% will be added to all successful bids through the Invaluable.com and AuctionZip.com platforms.
2. If there is a dispute over a lot, it will be put up for auction again or withdrawn, at sole discretion of the Auctioneer.
3. No goods will be removed from the Auction Premises until full payment has been made.
4. All lots are sold "as is, where is" and without any guarantees or warranties given or implied.
5. The Buyer must ensure he makes himself acquainted with the condition, size, age, quantity and quality of goods that are sold before bidding. If you require, please contact us before the auction for a Condition Report on any of the goods on auction.
6. Some items on this auction might be not be allowed to be exported to other countries outside of South Africa, for reasons due to size, design, materials, historical and/or cultural significance. It is solely the foreign Buyer's responsibility to ensure that items bought on auction are allowed to leave South Africa, and are allowed into the country the Buyer is intending exporting it to.

Payment

Payment is due within 72 hours after the auction. Accepted forms of payment are Visa and Mastercard debit and credit cards, Cash on Collection, as well as Wire Transfer or Electric Funds Transfer (EFT). Only once full and final payment has been received for goods bought on auction, and acknowledged by the Old Johannesburg Warehouse, will goods be released to the Buyer, his Representative, or his appointed Shipping Company.

Value-Added Tax (VAT)

By law, we are required to add 14% Value-Added Tax (VAT) to our Buyer's Premium and Online Bidding Fee portions of the sale. Therefore, the total premium added to all successful bids is the 17,5% Buyer's Premium, plus the 5% Online Bidding Fee, making a total of 22,5%. The VAT at 14% is then payable over this total only, making a total of 25,65%.

Online Bidding Fee

All succesful bids through the Invaluable.com and/or AuctionZip.com platforms, will attract a Buyer's Premium of 17,5% and an Online Bidding Fee of 5%, making a total of 22,5% which will be added to final accounts.

Shipping Terms

All Shipping is the sole responsibility of the Buyer.
