signed, watercolour and charcoal, depicting the close contest between Chiron in the Bugatti T51, Birkin in the British Racing Green Maserati and Fagioli in the Rosso Corsa Maserati, on artist board, 20 x 28½ in, unmounted.

Louis Chiron and his co-driver Archille Varzi went onto win the race, completing 101 laps of the circuit at a speed of 126.88 kmph. Sir Henry 'Tim' Birkin and his co-driver George Eyston in their Maserati 26M finished 4th, 7 laps behind the dominant Bugatti. Luigi Fagioli and his co-driver Ernsto Maserati retired on the 45th lap after brake failure.
