Self-taught artist. Exhibited at the National Academy, 1936; Pettis Gallery (two man show), Indianapolis, 1929; Hoosier Salon 1929, 35, 37, 39; William H. Block Prize 1937-40. His works are in the Dailey Collection at Indiana University and the Kokomo Art Association. Worked in Taos and was the brother of Wood W. Woolsey.
