Condition Details: To the unaided eye, this piece appears to be in good condition. Inspection under ultraviolet light shows normal fluorescence of artist's pigments. There is a small fold in the bottom left hand side of the canvas, where it is no longer affixed to the panel on which it is mounted. There is a small amount of pigment loss along the fold. Along the right hand edge of the piece, there is a 1/8" wide strip that doesn't have the same layering of pigment as the rest of the painting, and was seemingly intended to be covered by the frame. The piece is in an antiqued off-white frame. The frame is in good condition, with normal signs of wear. To the unaided eye, this piece appears to be in very good condition. Inspection under ultraviolet light shows normal fluorescence of artist's pigments. There is some craquelure in the center of the sky. The piece is in a semi-ornate gold frame with a linen panel.
