Condition Report

The canvas has not been lined. There is a pattern of hairline craquelure throughout the painted surface, which appears to be stable. Ultra-violet light reveals areas of uneven fluorescence possibly due to old residual varnish, and some spots of cosmetic retouching notably along the right edge and in the lower left corner. The work is otherwise in good condition and ready to hang. Presented in a decorative gilt frame.
