Second edition of vol. I and FIRST EDITIONS OF VOL. II AND III. After publication of the first volume of Herbarum vivae icones in 1530, Brunfels continued working on it, and published the second volume in 1532. It contains a further 47 new woodcuts by Weiditz, plus two which had appeared in vol. I. The appendix to volume II contains works by other authors, including Brunfels's contemporaries Bock and Fuchs; their contributions here are their first botanical publications.
