Brightwell (Leonard Robert, 1889-1983). "Straight from the Stable: The Steward's Cup; Won by a Neck", together two pen, ink, and grisaille watercolour drawings, both cartoon illustrations of horses, one partaking of a picnic laid out on the ground, and the other eating tulips from a vase through an open window, former signed lower right, both image size 30 x 22cm (12 x 8.75ins), mounted, together with two other pen & ink drawings by Brightwell, one depicting alligators in a zoo and a lady brandishing a lorgnette, entitled 'In the Reptile House.
