This pamphlet defends the navigational treatises of Wright (Correction of Errors in Navigation, London, 1599) and Norwood (Trigonometrie, or, the Doctrine of Triangles, London, 1631) against an unnamed opponent, referred to by Bond as "the Square Trencher Navigator".
