Original illustration for a 1956 "Greatest Moments in Sports Calendar" published by Shaw Barton. Calendar caption reads "March 20, 1954, La Salle College of Philadelphia, in first appearance in 16-year-old tournament, defeat Bradley to win 1954 NCAA championship by largest score of previous meet." A copy of the calendar is included in the lot.
Gouache on paper, 13 1/2" x 19" sight. Framed.

Condition Report

Not examined out of frame. There is a 2.75" a 5.5" piece of paper applied to the upper left corner (extending around the head of player 43). This was to white out the area where the caption would be printed. It appears to be removable.
