Stormy Atmosphere over an ideal River Landscape with Ruin and Shepherds. Oil on canvas. Relined. 92 x 129cm. Signed on left of stone: Bimmermann ft. Framed.

Several similar motifs can be found with Bimmermann and his paragones of the Cleves School, B.C. Koekkoek as well as Klombeck. The motifs were created during their wandering through the region around Cleves and on their way to Luxembourg.
