Notes

Bae graduated from Hong-Ik University in 1974 and he has had one-person exhibitions at Kwan Hoon Gallery, Seoul, in 1982; Galerie Gana-Beaubourg, Paris, in 2002 and 2004 and Gana Art, New York, in 2008. His work was exhibited at the Thyssen Museum, Madrid in 2006. Bae's work in the collections of the National Museum of Contemporary Art, Gwacheon, Korea, the National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo, the Ho-Am Art Museum, Seoul (Leeum Samsung Museum of Art), and the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston.
