Very good condition overall with natural grey veining to the marble at several places, in particular to the back of his proper right thigh. There appears to be an old restoration to his proper left wrist, as well as to the tip of Adonis' cub. A few minor chips to the lower edge of the marble base, a small lack (ca. 2 cm) to the edge of the planted terrace near his proper left foot. Fantastic marble, with fine modelling and carving.
