"The source material for my work is the gathered information fragments from a range of media in the form of photographs, television promos, website content, ancient cosmological or mystical diagrams, scientific charts etc. These information fragments are gathered and rearranged on a computer screen using image processing programs till semiotic links form between these otherwise unrelated fragments. The resulting composite is then either painted on to a canvas or printed out for further modification. In this way information that is available within public space is re-contextualised and transformed into (significant) private objects that invert the direction of information flow."
