Notes

The present drawing has been compared to two others in the Biblioteca Reale in Turin1, which were previously considered by Philip Pouncey to be close in style to Bernardo Castello.2 Holland's notes indicate, however, that Pouncey firmly attributed this drawing and the comparable ones at Turin to Avanzino Nucci, in June 1975. 1.
