Lot 1220: Autographs: Sarah Siddons

Sarah Siddons: British actress (1755-1831) who became the unquestioned queen of the stage, unmatched as a tragic actress. Ink signature, "Sarah Siddons," on an off-white 3.25 x 1.5 clipped slip affixed to an identical size card. In very good condition, with two vertical folds through single letters of signature, and some scattered light toning and foxing. Accompanied by an unsigned color postcard photo.
