Lot 180: Autograph - Victor Jory

Actor (1902-1982) who appeared in over 150 films, and is best known as Jonas Wilkerson, the brutal and opportunistic overseer, in Gone With the Wind. Vintage glossy 8 x 10 Warner Bros. promotional photo for A Midsummer's Night's Dream, signed and inscribed in-person in fountain pen "To Saul, Sincerely, Victor Jory." Reverse of photo bears collector's stamp date of March 2, 1937, the date the signature was acquired. In very good to fine condition, with scattered creases and surface marks as well as some mild rippling to emulsion.
