Lot 896: Autograph - James Dean

American actor (1931-1955) best known for his star turns in three 1950s screen classics: East of Eden, Rebel Without a Cause, and Giant. His untimely death in a high-speed car crash elevated him to the status of Hollywood legend. Vintage fountain pen signature, "James Dean," on an off-white album page. Double matted and framed (without glass) with a classic photo of Dean in his leather jacket and a small name plaque, to an overall size of 17 x 23.25. In fine condition, with a uniform shade of mild toning to page and Dean's signature a shade or two light, but completely legible.
