Autograph: Brooke J. Allen - Major General in the US Air Force (1910-1992) and B-17 squadron commander. Typed 'Pledge of Allegiance' on an off-white 8.5 x 5.5 sheet, signed underneath, "Brooke E. Allen, Major General US Air Force (ret.) Was the pilot of the first of two B-17 that were able to take off from Hickam Field during the Japanese attack on Dec. 17th-1941." In fine condition, with a horizontal fold through lower portion.
