Condition Report

Re-lined and restored approximately 10 years ago, now still in very good condition. Some minor retouching having been done in the sky. A fine but stable craquelure showing throughout the rest of the picture. Signed lower right. In a modern 19th century style gilt scroll frame. Sold by Christie''s some years ago as Schmidt but subsequently some doubt has been cast upon this attribution.
