Attributed to Jules Brocage, French act.1808- A French naval engagement depicting sloop-of-war and Gun-brig's in action; dust-ground aquatint's on wove paper, a pair, each with minor scattered stains and scuffs, mounted unframed, a seemingly rare and highly accomplished pair of aquatint's and reminiscent of Samuel Atkiens highly detailed maritime scenes, 40x62cm, ea: James Fittler 1758-1835 & Daniel Lepiniere c.1745-1785- "The Distressed situation of the Quebec & the Surveillante, a French Ship of War" published by J.
