Two silhouettes: Henry Wellesley, 1st Baron Cowley (1773-1847), in profile to the left, in double-breased coat and frilled cravat, together with Henry Somerset, 5th Duke of Beaufort (1744-1803), in profile to the left, in coat and frilled cravat
the former bronzed silhouette on plaster; the latter on card
ovals, 3 1/8 in. (80 mm.), gilt-metal mount, and 3 5/8 in. 92 mm.
the latter inscribed in pencil on the reverse 'Duke of Beaufort March 1831' (2)
