Study of Two Angels
Unsigned, attributed in a pencil inscription on the backing mat.
Ink and conte crayon on laid paper, 5 3/4 x 7 7/8 in. (14.6 x 20.0 cm), matted, unframed.
Condition: Creasing, soiling, scattered stains, hinged to backing mat in two places on the reverse.

Condition Report

Creases along center horizontal and vertical axes. Other creases particularly at corners, the largest one located at the lower left corner and extending into the upper left quadrant. Upper left corner appears to be reinforced or perhaps mended, although the chain of the laid paper is still visible. Seven small ink dots, primarily in the l.c., with one stray dot at center right side. Partial watermark.
