Possible abraded signature l.l., attributed on a presentation plaque, with a gummed label from the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, affixed to the frame.
Oil on canvas, 48 x 39 in. (122.0 x 99.0 cm), framed.
Condition: Lined, probable old retouch, skinning, craquelure, surface grime.

The inscription on the Museum of Fine Arts label is too faded to read. There are also two old gummed labels, one on the frame and one on the stretcher, with the name and address of Mr. Eyra Mayer, 17 Bay State Road.
