Unsigned, identified and dated "Painted by Fisher 1815..." on a partial label affixed to the reverse.
Oil on board, 20 5/8 x 27 in. (52.3 x 68.7 cm), framed.
Condition: Minor retouch, fine craquelure, surface grime.

Provenance: A Massachusetts estate.

Fine crack in the paint surface in the sky just above the tree line. Areas of retouch not visible under black light.
