Notes

Lakatos studied at the School of Industrial Design and at the Model Drawing School and attended Hollósy's school in Munich. He also worked in Paris, where his works were included in the exhibitions of the Salon d' Automne. Following his return to Hungary, he taught at the School of Industrial Design for many years. Apart from painting, he also worked in furniture design and interior design.
