Among Zucchi's many projects done in association with the great neo classical architect Robert Adam are the frescoes he executed in 1773 for Home Housein London, which include another (and closely related) version of this subject.The lush colors of this oil sketch celebrate Zucchi's Venetian birth right.In 1781, Zucchi married Angelica Kauffman, and largely abandoned painting to devote his time to the management of her career and fortune.
