Please see lot 109 for a pair of bronze figures of children by Lanzirotti. The present marble study of a boy holding a bunch of grapes seated with his legs crossed has been adapted in the bronze model to depict a charming scene of a parrot attempting to steal the grapes while the boy turns away.
