Condition Report

The canvas has been relined. The paints surface is clean and covered with an even varnish. There are some small areas of discoloured retouching in the upper centre. Inspection under ultraviolet light shows scattered retouchings throughout the picture, particularly in the sky and around the margins of the upper left corner. This lot is offered in a simple wood frame, with a gilded sight and outer edge, in good condition.
