ENJOYING A PERFORMANCE

Hanging scroll, ink and colour on silk
115 x 64 cm (45 1/4 x 25 1/4 in.)
A total of sixteen collectors' seals, including:
Two of Xian Yuanbian (1525-1590);
One of Gao Shiqi (1645-1703); and
Eight of Wu Rongguang (1773-1843)
Inscription above the painting by Wu Rongguang, dated jiawu year or the Daoguang era (1834), signed, with one seal
An inscription by each of Wu Quanxuan and Wu Shanglian below the painting

Note:
Inscription of Wu Rongguang attributes this painting to the 10th century, noting that there is a seal of the Southenr Tang emperor Li Sheng (888-943) in the upper left hand corner of this scroll
