A double-sided portrait miniature of Mary, Countess of Chichester as a young lady and her brother, Lord Sidney Godolphus Osborne; she, full face in white dress with high standing frilled collar, blue ribbon in her long powdered curling hair; he, as a young child, in white dress with large purple sash, lace bonnet and purple lined straw hat with large purple bow oval, 21/4 in. (56 mm.) high, gold fausse-montre frame with white enamel surround within pale blue and white enamel border with gold decoration, the reverse with white enamel surround within dark blue enamel and gold decoration border NOTES Lady Mary Henrietta Juliana Osborne (d. 1826), daughter of 5th Duke of Leeds married Thomas Pelham, 2nd Earl of Chichester (1756-1826) in 1801 and had issue.
