Annabel Gosling (b.1942) Mediterranean Terrace Signed, oil on canvas, 54.5cm by 74.5cm Born in Overbury, Gloucestershire, attended Ipswich School of Art in 1950, Angers Beaux Arts in France in 1959, then the Byam Shaw School of Drawing and Painting 1960-64. She was awarded the Leverhulme and Byam Shaw Scholarships 1960. She showed at the RA, RBA, NEAC and the Archer Gallery and had solo shows at the Ansdell Gallery 1971, the Royal Festival Hall 1980 and the Mall Galleries 1991. Her work is held by the Royal Family of Abu Dhabi, the Scottish Educational Development Authority and the Savoy and Barclay Hotels.
