- Lots buyed via the web site Artfact are subject to a 3% fee, in addition to the regular buyer's fees stated earlier.


BIDS
The highest and final bidderwill be the purchaser.
Should the auctioneer recognise two simultaneous bids on one lot, the lot will be put up for sale again and all those present
in the saleroom may participate in this second opportunity to bid.
Important : Bidding is typically conducted in the auction house. However, we may graciously accept telephone bids from
potential buyers wh have made the request.
We bear no responsability whatsoever in the case of uncompleted calls made too late and/or technical difficulties with the
telephone. We also accept absentee bids submitted prior to the sale. We rererve the right to accept or deny any requests for
telephone or absentee bidding.
The telephone bidder agrees to bis up to the law estimate.
In carrying a bid, bidders assume their personal responsability to pay the hammer price as welle as all buyer's fees and taxes
chargeable to the buyer.

Terms & Conditions

1. REGISTRATION
1.1 The bidders must complete and sign the registration form, at least 12hours before the auction, providing Name, address, phone number, email an credit card number.
1.2 AQUEDUTO has the right to refuse admission, or participation in any auction or reject any bid.

2. PAYMENT AND COLLECTION
3.1 A premium of 22% of the final bid price will be applied to each lot sold, to be paid by the buyer as part of the purchase price.
3.2 The buyer must collect all the goods and pay the amount due, within 5 days after the date of purchase. After this period AQUEDUTO may charge interest and storage expenses.
3.3 Collection and shipping is of the responsibility of the buyer. Assistance can be provided, by AQUEDUTO staff, if requested, and will be done as courtesy, so they cannot be, at any time, assigned any responsibility.


3.4 If the buyer wishes to apply for an export licence, this does not affects his obligation to make payment after the sale nor our right to charge interest or storage expenses. If the buyer request us to apply for an export licence on his behalf, this service will be charged to him. Buyer cannot gave up a sale or refuse to pay other expenses if an export licence is required.

3. BREACH
4.1 If the purchaser fails to accomplish any obligation of these Conditions of Sale, bidder "AQUEDUTO" may exercise all of its rights under the law, including a) canceling the sale and applying any payments made by purchaser to the damages caused by the buyers, and/or b) offering at public auction, without reserve, any lot or item for wich the purchaser has failed to pay in full the purchase price, holding the purchaser liable for any deficiency plus all costs of sale.

4. TAX PROVISIONS
All purchases are subject to the VAT sales tax unless the purchaser presents valid VAT registration identification and qualifies for exemption. VAT is charged over buyer's premium amount.

5. LIABILITY


5.1, Our descriptions of the lots, regarding artists, country of origin, provenance, date and period are based in our knowledge and opinion. We therefore recommend that, specially for items of high price, buyers should seek expert advise. Condition reports are always available on request.

6 FINAL PROVISIONS
The rights and obligations of the parties of these Conditions of Sale, and auction legal matters have the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Lisbon, Portugal
