The mission of Jewish Family & Child is to support individuals, families and communities through prevention, protection, counselling, education and advocacy services within the context of Jewish values. With its roots going back to 1868, when members of the community formally banded together to offer assistance to poor Jewish immigrants, it now provides as many as 30 community programs and social services throughout the Greater Toronto area.
