AN UNUSUAL BLUE AND WHITE CRACKLE-GLAZED 'FLORAL' VASE

19th century

The globular body surmounted by a tall cylindrical neck, painted overall in cobalt blue under a lightly crackled glaze with a dense network of foliate scrolls issuing flowerheads alternating from smaller prunus and mallow blooms to larger flora with tall stamen and serrated petals, dressed in brown at the rim and at the deeply cut biscuit base.
