Title and signed verso, "The Druid Oaks Near Hayes, Kent/R.F. McIntyre", the ornate giltwood and gessoed frame with an "R.F. McIntyre" nameplate (Robert Finlay McIntyre, British, fl. 1892-1897). Sight size 29 1/2"h x 49 1/4"w Unlined, on the original stretchers, in what is probably the original frame. Chips of paint loss to l.l. and l.r. corners, also to middle lower edge of canvas, one tiny chip in trees, another in u.r.c.
