AN OIL ON BOARD OF AN OCEAN SUNSET
Signed l.r.c. Frederick Blakeslee (American, 1898-1973). Blakeslee was an illustrator best known for his pulp-type illustrations for Western novels, railroad tales and war stories. This seascape is a rare example of his desirable nature oeuvre. Sight size 12"h x 15 3/4"w With two small scraped and then touched-up areas in the sand.
