AN IRISH GEORGE I CARVED AND PAINTED TABERNACLE MIRROR, the domed top with carved scallop shell above an inset auricular frame now filled with an oil painting copy on canvas of ''The Misers'' after Quentin Massys (1466-1529), flanked by fluted pilasters and egg and dart banding and rosettes, the scroll form base with central rectangular mirror panel. The entire 162cm wide, 183cm high Provenance: Purchased from Russellstown Park, Duckett Estate, Carlow by the present owners family in 1950's
